- Regardless of wither you think abortion should be legal or illegal, every true american should be in favor of overturning roe v wade. Read the concurring opinion and you will see that the decision had absolutely no constitutional foundation.

- In case anyone has forgotten, the deadliest school massacre using firearms was in 2007 at VA Tech. The shooter did not use a .223 caliber rifle to commit his atrocious acts. He used a two handguns, a 9mm and a .22.

- I like to view myself to be about as pro second amendment as any true american, and I agree that something needs to change. However I do not believe that an outright ban on assault weapons or high capacity clips is a good solution.

- GCCal, I am a gun advocate and a defender of the 2nd admendment, but for the life of me I cannot fathom the need for the average citizen to have assault weapons, semi-automatic weapons and all the other things that go with it.

- I for one find this story at least partially refreshing to hear. For once a psychotic person looking for their chance at fame didn't harm anyone in the process. He had the decency to shoot the gun at the ground as apposed to innocent bystanders.

- Ammo is widely available over there. The government actually used to give most assault gun owners a box of ammo but that stopped a few years ago.

- mixedpie, We just want the country to give gay people equal rights, which includes the ability to have a consensual marriage to whom they choose (which is a right outlined in the UN's "Universal Declaration of Human Rights").
